Where there is love, there are quarrels.

The ‘happily ever after’ didn’t remain happy for much longer, unfortunately. After a few centuries, someone cast an evil eye upon the adorable love story of Business & Art, turning it a little dark for some years.

The fact that people focused more on Business got into its head, and it started looking down at Art. This pushed Art into the dungeons and gave rise to a phrase-cum-condition, the struggling artist syndrome. When Art was down at the docks, Business completely forgot about it, and the world witnessed a heartbreak unlike any other.

While Business was appreciated by everyone, Art became a fancy of the poor. While Business appealed to the masses, Art became a choice of the few. Although it seemed that Business was going to win the battle and lose the war, Art suffered harder.

Their quarrels of love were nothing short of adorable incidents. The poet, one who shall never be named, noticed the times when they both shed a tear or two but kept shut. He couldn’t help but move his pen on the paper and document the most beautiful quarrel there exists. An excerpt of the same can be found below.

Business’s Journal:

People lined up, I am getting wooed by everyone,

why are there tears in my eyes, when I am having fun?

I feel the pain, I feel the loss, I feel my life going for a toss.

Where are you, my love? My beloved Art?

You are close, then why do you seem so far apart?

The attention got to me; my head and my heart,

please come back to me, my beautiful Art!

Art’s Canvas:

You left me, alone, thrashed to the ground,

unseen from the world, nowhere to be found.

You made me miserable, you made me foul,

I became nothing more than a scowl.

I waited for you to change and be mine.

But, you let pride come in between. Now I am not fine.

Poet’s Pages:

So close, yet so far.

Oh! Business & Art, you are.

Quarrels are just a part of love and life,

it speaks volumes of our strives.

It is never too late to start,

Business, you can still win over Art.

Where there is love, there is care,

Art & Business, you have got a life to share.

Stop messing around, find your way back,

fill in the colors of joy, in the hearts, so black.

Business will always be incomplete without Art. The structure lacks an appeal without creativity. It is not just about transactions, but about being desirable. The sooner the people realize the worth of Art with Business, the sooner the world will become a happy place.

Well, we can all see the pain and the realization above. I hope that our two love birds find their way back and make us skip a heartbeat soon.

Keep Reading! More stories of their togetherness will follow! #3
